Comic con 08! Woooooo!!!!

Well, as you can tell, i went to comic con at the suntec city convetion center. :D Well, it wasn't what i expected really, not much comics, more buyables. Toys, Busts, Figurines, etc etc. Less comics. Though it's dubbed "comicon" it's actually a toy & comic convention.

This was a SUPER COOLIO IRON MAN BUST! (though it costs a whopping sum of $1,260 buckaroos.) It was super crowded though, and trying to navigate through was like trying to navigate through a sale which a department store is giving everything away for free. (Wait, won't everything be gone after awhile?) Well, you get the point.

So then, me and Shafi walked around once, Cos SOME PEOPLE (Looks at parents suspiciously)kept me on a tight time leash. So in the end i just bought stikfas

Then i had an animated conversation with my friend.

Anonymous: So... Do you think that....

Me: What?

Anonymous: Fish will one day be able to go onto land and like, kill everyone by breathing fire?!?!?

Me: Wha-?

Anonymous: Well, the reason why fish blow bubbles is actually because they are breathing fire, and since they are technically underwater, bubbles come out so... you get my point righ'?

Me: .....Heheh?

Anonymous: I'm serious. Totally. Dude. Psychadelic. Groovy.

Me: *stares blankly into space*

Then a unicorn came out of nowhere and started to neigh. MOOO!

(Edit: I finally managed to make it work)Okay, so here's the lowdown. The place i went to is... You have to guess haha! By the way, be ready to use some time to read the whole post. Sorry wanted y'all to see the most. i took like a gabazillion pictures. so be sure to have at least 15 minutes or so?

So i went there from the 8th of June, Sunday, till the 13th, Friday.

So, when i first landed, i went to check in to the hotel, look at the lobby!

Yeah, then i went to my room, it was okay. BUT IT ONLY HAD ONE TOILET FOR MY FAMILY OF FIVE. AND THE STUPID SHOWER ONLY SPRAYED REALLY COLD OR REALLY HOT WATER. ANd the water pressure, it's only enough to wash a snail. I mean, i took 15 minutes or so to wash my hair? and mine's not long. My sister's took like, half an hour or something.

That was the living room. It's not bad eh? We also had a kitchen and oven. Photobucket

But, it was very cold. So who could blame them? haha.

Ain't got much pics of the first day tho.. pretty uneventful. But, i saw the most bizzare thing ever.

See that^? It's Sunglasses, and they've been pasted (Or frozen) To the Pole! HAHA! It reminded me of a certain shadow lol. :D but it still made me laugh alot. Well, that's it for Day 1.

Day 2.

On the second day, monday, 9th june, We went for a tour, the great ocean road tour. I had this for bkfast.

Wasn't bad, but was kinda bland after the top got eaten.

So, the bus came and we went off, on a damn long bus ride which i fell asleep on :D

The first stop was a tea break.

The coast was kind of nice. And the clouds were nicer in the real pic. Real bright and stuff. dunno what's wrong in the pic tho...

So we went back on the bus, which had many people from many places. There were two guys from england, where one of them was quite weird... But nice. But weird. ^^ Then there was the mexican woman too! which i saw a few days later. anyways, the bus ride went on, the road was had so many curves that i was going to be sick. Thought i was gonna puke a few times, but hey, i din't! HAH! Then, the bus driver, A George Arthur, who talked alot but got all his facts right, Stopped the bus for us to see a koala on a tree. My phone couldn't zoom in enough but it's that big lump in the tree (I don't have a camera, so sue me.)

There were alot of these signs, to remind foreigners to do what it says.

The funny thing about the sign is that, people actually took the sign away as a souvenir! I mean, Last time, people took pictures as a souvenir, but now, they just take the whole thing away!haha.

Then i found someone barbequeing something on the beach, it isnt that often in Singapore, and the thing they used was kinda cool/funny, so i took a pic o' it.

So then we moved on to a lunch break, not seeing much, mostly driving on a road which would make you puke...

So after lunch we walked around the town, with 15 minutes to spare. I saw this carpet.

Then these fish.

Then i was bored, so i wore a hat XD

Then, there was this van. I know Shafi will hate me for putting this up, butt.....

It's Chuck Norris btw. :P And the back says: "There is no theory of evolution, just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live."

Anyway, Then we moved on, to see the twelve apostles, you know, the 12 rock formations along the great ocean road, well, you can see them in the next few pics, but i couldn't get many, cos they're stretched along the whole coast, and i only got to see a few.

Okay, the path was quite long, so i took a few pics.

That's me mum, contemplating life (haha) (Actually, right now, im hating singtel cos of their internet, whenever i go photobucket the internet window hangs and i've to repeat the process and it's DAMN IRRITATING. GAH. This is why this post is taking so long to come out)

And that's it for Day 2. WHEW!

Now Day 3, this was a shopping day, so there wasn't much to put up. But i bought snickers. AND IT"S SO BIG!

And then my dad brought us into a very seedy alley which we were sure we were going to get robbed, but we din't, but i was scary. At least i got to take some pics of their 'art'. :P

Day 4. Was when we went to see penguins. These really small ones. But before that, we traveled to some farm where i fed kangaroos and ducks.

And the two Emus. So and then we moved on from that spot, and moved into a koala jungle, but frankly, i dint see any koalas ^^; must be blind, but i managed to get a picture of a gigantic one!

Then the bus went on.

Then we went to the penguin enclosure. Now. The saddest thing (but kind of obvious) is that.... well... I couldn't take pictures of them. I wasn't allowed to. Here's the picture.

as you can see, it dosent allow me does it? so, the best i can do is give you pictures of the posters. :P

And that's the end of the 4th day. The 5th day wasnt much... i have hardly any pics to show.

And that's about it. But im sure you're all tired of the photos anyway, i would be :P. So let's just wrap it up with the photos on the last day.

We saw people make candy, and i brought some back they're quite nice!

THE LORD OF THE FRIES (ANDREW WOULD LOVE THIS) IT WAS DAMN NICE THE FRIES WERE SOOOOOO GOOD. REALLY NICE. REALLY. next time you see them just buy it, don't think.

dosen't it look nice? Cos my brother INSISTED on having sauce, we had to settle for Italian sauce. Tho- im sure it would taste better without ANY sauce at all...

And that's it! That's my holiday. Phew, finally done. Took over an hour doing this post cos of the problem which i told you all about, and Melbourne was- (drum roll) Okay.

Since it was our first time half of the trip (or so) was spent traveling, walking, on the bus, et cetera. And well, most of the shope closed at 6-7pm around there, so my bro complained alot.

It was hard finding food too. Kitchens usually closed at 3 around there, and not many restaurants stayed until 9 (Unless you know where to go, which we only did after like, the 4th day, then there's alot:D.) But, if you like Italian food and fries, then you should go, they have alot of that. But i was disappointed with their fish & Chips... But if you want to go sightsee, and eat good fries and italian food, then go! However, if you want shopping, most of the things there are cheaper in Singapore, but it's not bad. THere's lots of candy there too, and carpet skins. Anyway... So that's all for this post, i'll see you all around!
